Ribs are one of my favorite foods.
They’re hearty, filling, and delicious.
But they can be tricky to cook.
The problem is that they dry out easily and overcook too quickly.
This means that they taste great, but aren’t tender enough to eat.
I’ve tried pressure cooker recipes before, but never cooked ribs.
Now I’m going to share my secrets for cooking ribs perfectly every time
How To Pressure Cook Ribs Before Grilling
Pressure cooking ribs before grilling is a great way to get tender meat while keeping the fat from dripping onto the grill. This method works well if you’re using a charcoal grill because the smokey flavor of the grill helps impart a smoky flavor to the ribs. It’s important to note that the ribs will not be cooked through after being pressure cooked. For this reason, you’ll need to finish them off on the grill.
To pressure cook the ribs, place them in a slow cooker or Dutch oven. Add enough water to completely cover the ribs. Cover the pot and bring the liquid to a boil over medium-high heat. Once the liquid comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low and let the ribs simmer for 45 minutes. Remove the ribs from the pot and set aside.
For finishing the ribs on the grill, preheat the grill to 350 degrees F 177 degrees C. Brush the ribs with vegetable oil and season them with salt and pepper. Grill the ribs until they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F 63 degrees C, about 15 to 20 minutes. Let the ribs rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
Ingredients You Need
1/2 cup kosher salt
1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
How to Make Baby Back Ribs Instantly
Baby back ribs are a cut from the loin section of the pig. They are very tender and flavorful, but they are not as popular as other cuts of pork because they take longer to cook. To make baby back ribs, you will need to marinate the meat overnight. In order to get the best flavor, you will need to season the meat well. It is important to note that you will need to soak the ribs in the refrigerator for 12 hours. Once the ribs have been soaked, remove them from the fridge and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This allows the meat to warm up and become easier to handle. After the ribs have been sitting for 30 minutes, place them into a baking dish and pour 2 cups of apple cider vinegar onto the bottom of the pan. Cover the ribs with plastic wrap and refrigerate them for 24 hours. Remove the ribs from the refrigerator and discard the liquid. Place the ribs in a roasting pan and rub them with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper. Let the ribs sit for another hour. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Roast the ribs for 45 minutes per pound. For instance, if you bought a 3-pound rack of baby back ribs, you would roast them for approximately 90 minutes. Once the ribs have cooked for 45 minutes, flip them over and continue to roast until the internal temperature reaches 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the ribs from oven and allow them to rest for 10 minutes. Slice the ribs and serve immediately.
1. Cut the Ribs Into Pieces:
To begin, you will need to cut the rib bones into pieces. Start by cutting off the bone ends. Then, using a sharp knife, slice the ribs lengthwise. Next, cut each piece into two sections. Finally, separate the individual ribs into smaller pieces.

Answer: After you have sliced the ribs into pieces, you will need to soak them in a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water. Pour 2 cups of apple cider into a bowl and add 4 cups of water. Add 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of kosher salt. Mix all ingredients together and set aside. Put the ribs into the bowl and cover them with plastic wrap. Refrigerate the ribs for 12 hours.
3. Add a Dry Rub if You Need It:
If you want to give the ribs extra flavor, you can add a dry rub. To do this, mix 3 tablespoons of paprika, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, and 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the ribs. Let the ribs sit overnight in the refrigerator.
4. Fry the Ribs:
You can now start cooking the ribs. Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a heavy skillet. Place the ribs in the pan and sear them until golden brown. Turn the ribs over and continue searing them until they are cooked through. Remove the ribs from the pan and drain them on paper towels. Serve immediately.
4. Refrigerate Them Before Grilling:
To avoid having to grill the ribs again, you can refrigerate them after grilling. This way, you won’t have to worry about the meat drying out while waiting for the grill to cool down.
