Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker Bowl Not Freezing (5 Fixes!)
Cuisinart ice cream maker bowl not freezing – 5 fixes!
I’ve had my Cuisinart ice cream maker for about 3 years now and it’s been great.
It freezes really well but recently I noticed that it wasn’t freezing anymore.
I tried everything from cleaning the freezer, making sure the door was closed properly, turning off the power, unplugging the unit, and even leaving it overnight.
Nothing worked.
So I took it back to the store where I bought it and they told me that it needed a new motor.
After replacing the motor, it still wouldn’t freeze.
I called customer service and they said that it could be because of the way the machine is set up.
They recommended that I turn the dials to “freeze” instead of “chill”.
This didn’t help either.
I’m thinking that maybe it needs a new heating element.
Any ideas?
