Slow cooking is a great way to tenderize tough cuts of meat such as beef short ribs. It takes longer than other methods but produces a very flavorful result. Slow cooking is ideal for long, low-and-slow cooking. This method works well for tougher cuts of meat that benefit from extended cooking times. Low and slow cooking is a good technique for making pulled pork, brisket, and other barbecued meats.
